This is a quick coral eye look I did the other day using the following:
- MAC Goldmine shadow on the inner lid
- MAC Vanilla shadow in the inner corner
- MAC Coral shadow (PRO product) on the entire upper lid and lower lid
- MAC Swiss Chocolate shadow in crease
- MAC Blitz and Glitz Fluidine to line the upper id
- MAC Plushlash mascara on upper lashes
Since I use a joe-schmo camera, the definition in the crease looks a lil funny, but you get the idea.
I know coral is difficult to pull off on the eyes, but hopefully this gives you a fun way to pull it off. What do you think? What colors do you find hard to wear on the eyes?
I think the shade that you have is easy to wear and soft enough for the summer.:D

Oooh this looks gorgeous! I am always afraid to try corals on my eyes but now that summer is coming I might give it a spin.
ReplyDeleteCoral is such a beautiful shade! I just started using a coral shade but try to keep in minimal. I think the one I use is Hot Hot Hot, would this be a close dupe for the Coral you used?
ReplyDeletePretty :) I just got the new "Firecracker" shadow from To the Beach and I think I'll try this look with it :)
ReplyDeletei think your camera took a great photo. i'm still struggling with close-ups with my camera.
ReplyDeletelove what you did here. i can't wait to get better at eye makeup!

Beautiful look!!!
ReplyDeleteI must say, I 'm not one to try the coral on my eyes, but I could definitely wear something along these lines... great post girl! :)

@Marie Thanks! The shade itself is quite bright in the pan, but blended it looks very wearable.
ReplyDelete@Devs Let me know if you try it and like it!
@Neena Hot Hot Hot is similar but has more of a reddish tone. You can definitely use it lightly and add more color to intensify it if you like.
@Nosh This would be nice with Firecracker...let me know how you like it!
@Cheryl Photography with makeup is hard...takes practice, time, and some moola!
@tina_mbc Thanks! I think you could pull this off! Best part is, its not permanent so try it and see if you like it! =)
