Everyone has been talking about Stereo Rose Mineralize Skin Finish (MSF) from the new MAC In The Groove Collection, but what about the other MSFs? Those deserve some love too, especially Comfort, which is a brown neutral color and although it might not look like anything fancy in the case, it is sooo wearable and is really a gorgeous color.
My all-time favorite MSF is So Ceylon, which is also in the brown family, so when I got Comfort I was worried they would be too similar, but see for yourself:

So yes, they are somewhat similar, but I use them for different purposes. So Ceylon has some glitter and shimmer to it, and Comfort has more of a Satin finish. Comfort is not matte, but it does not have the shimmer or glitter that are in most MSFs of the past. That being said, Comfort still provides a nice glow.

I prefer So Ceylon as a blush color and an eyeshadow color. It looks great on the lid or in the crease. Comfort is also a good blush color, especially if you are wearing loud eye makeup or a loud lip color. However, I think Comfort is an excellent bronzer color for all skin tones, and makes a great contour color for light-medium skin tones.
I know Comfort might not have the same glam factor as some of the other shades, but it is probably one of the shades that I will use the most, and I think it is a great addition to any makeup bag.
I totally agree with you. The new msf's do deserve a lot of praise. They are way smoother and less chunkier than the older edition. I have so ceylon as well as stereo rose and i love them both.

@lynette Oooh Stereo Rose is a beauty. I love MSFs and the fact that the new ones aren't glittery makes them so much more wearable!
